Kareena Teh Poh Gaik is a Consultant of Beyond Compliance Consulting Sdn. Bhd. (“BCC”). She specialises in governance, compliance, data privacy and protection, dispute and risk management matters.
Before joining BCC, Kareena practiced as a lawyer in New Zealand and Hong Kong, representing multinational and local businesses from diverse industries operating in Asia Pacific. She provided sound, practical and strategic advice and guidance in corporate governance, crisis and incident management, contract and dispute management, data privacy and protection, human resource management and regulatory compliance matters. She also successfully represented and advocated for clients in complex cross-border and commercial litigation, arbitration and enforcement actions.
Education & Qualifications
Kareena obtained the Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LL.B (Hons)) and Professional Legal Studies from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand (1989).
